    Advertising strategies are based on the statistical research of product consumption. Businesses want to maximize their profits, which means targeting their products to those who demographically use them the most. Concerning the kinds of products this video is referencing, women are statistically the ones buying them more frequently. This is not sexist; it’s just effective marketing. If anything is sexist, it’s the behavior of consumers which causes companies to market their products as such.
