Food Network Subliminal Advertising?
I was watching the end of today’s (1/21/07) Iron Chef and noticed the screen quickly blink red. A few seconds later I start thinking, “Was that the McDonalds logo…?” Thanks to the magic of my Dish Network DVR, I rewind, and put it in to slow motion.
Sure enough, Food Network is allowing McDonalds to run subliminal advertisements in the middle of their programming!
Amazing!

Why do you think …
Why do you think they call them “Programs”?
All television is, is a way to program your way of thinking.

and what do we get, …
and what do we get, nothing! Do some research and look up why TV was invented. Check out Retroracer 13 1959 Chevrolet Impala! Why do you think we buy the things that we buy? We wouldn’t even know about McDonalds if it weren’t for TV! Would girls run out and by UGGs or the over priced Terrycloth Juciy Couture if they didn’t see the mind controlled Celebutants wearing it!! Look up Disney and see all of the sexual subliminals in those films that we let our children watch for hours. WAKE UP!!!

We are told even …
We are told even without sublimials to purchase things, lots of things, things that cost a lot of money and things we don’t need. The Foodnetwork is huge! There are so many Celebrity Chefs and they make tons of money! They have restaurants, sauces, seasonings, and now many of them have pots and pans. Now , we watch, we eat, we get sick from the poisons that our food is being treated with, we seek medical care, the HMO’s get paid, the doctors and hospitals get paid Foodnetwork gets paid,

It’s really sad …
It’s really sad that so many of you are so ignorant!! television exist today for the sole purpose of marketing! Buy, Buy and Buy some more. If you take some time and do some reading (you all remember how to read, right) obesity is growing more and more in American. It’s all for profit and the dumbing down of America, here is how it works. Most Americans watch TV. We are being programmed to think and act in a way that will create profit for the 1% who control everything.

I don’t think that …
I don’t think that something like that could be intentionally done an no one involved pick up a phone and tell someone that some shady stuff was going down, no. You can’t do secret stuff on a cable network, there’d be like 50 people who would have to know and be involved.

First of all, most …
First of all, most subliminal advertising theories were generated by one author, who wrote a book, then refused to be interviewed.
Today, the torch is carried by “experts” desperate to be published or noticed.
No scientific proof unless you count uncontrolled experiments with very small groups performed by biased testers.
Finally, does anyone really believe that out of the hundreds of thousands of people involved in the advertising business, none has stepped forward with documented proof ?

Ok, seriously …
Ok, seriously people. Work the problem…
What you are proposing is that McDonalds went to the advertising department of Food Network and said “Hey guys, we want to buy 1 frame of time DURING Iron Chef. How about somebody write us up a contract for that and we’ll be back to sign it.”
Somebody would be on the phone to Fox News (or “Bon Appetit”) in a heartbeat. It would never make it past the idea phase.
Do you think they paid for a full 30 second commercial, and only got one frame?
