What are the drawbacks of professional advertising agencies?

They are very expensive usually and not all of them are any good whatever in my experience.

    Professional advertising agencies make up a package that they think represents the product without a thorough knowledge.
    Professional advertising agencies are usually not receptive to you working with them to design a campaign.

    I own my own business called pierce & banderiezz.
    I only advertise locally .
    i advertise with my local shopping mall . i pay £1200 per week and the adverts are situated on tv located all around the mall .
    the advert is played over and over at least 300 times a day on each tv and there 20 tvs and the advert is 60 seconds in lengh to be exact i feel it has helped me amazingly.
    The only bad points that am aware of from professional firms is that they will charge you a great deal more than £1200 .
    and you will be in a contract . When i started my business i contacted likes of yell.com and bt.etc etc theese are very reasonable and they reach millions per day aka by being on line . I also managed to get the yell logo for all my stationary etc for free as i was a new local firm at the time.
