How do I find advertising agencies that concentrate on specific sectors, i.e. education, health, cooking?

how can I find ad agencies with their industry specialty? also how would I find out who the ad agency is for specific companies?

I don’t think they are industry specific…though many Agency like JWT and Ogilvy has started a Health division seeing that the future trend wil see more people needing healthcare and most of the proper agency have a proper electronic/online arm.

  1. Most agencies are classified by types of works that they do. i.e. above the line, below the line etc. Mostly large, multi national agency would set up specific units to service certain sectors, which translate to lots of resources and manpower and leads to higher than usual charges. Does it make them better than 5 manpower agency then? Some companies prefer smaller agency because their amount of biz say USD10k would be ignored by most big agency, but they will be the star client of small agency. A favourite quote " You pay peanut, you get monkey". So, it’s a matter of money, is your money peanut or bread???

  2. I don’t know if it already exist, but there use to be a web something like http://www.agencyfinder.com or something like this.

They find the agency that fit your needs, and they keep a comission of the winner.

    Try to find it.
If you couldn’t find it, try with the AAAA American Association of Advertising agencies. I think their web site is http://www.aaa.org or somthing like this.

Sorry of my english, I’m from Argentina
